About The Position

The Des-Case Material Handling Associate operates Monday through Thursday on the first shift within a climate-controlled setting. This role manages the storage and timely delivery of raw inventory to production lines. Collaborating closely with Receiving, Supply Chain, and Production teams, the associate ensures precise inventory accuracy across the warehouse and plant. The ideal candidate will gain comprehensive knowledge of raw material inventory and possess a fundamental understanding of the production process to guarantee that production lines are consistently and efficiently stocked, enabling production to meet scheduled targets.

Requirements

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control for the effective manufacture of goods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be a self-starter capable of working both independently and with a team.
• Ability to handle inventory for multiple orders and deliver to production in a timely manner.
• Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a detail-oriented person.
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Basic computer skills required
• A valid driver’s license
• Excellent driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Kanban and other lean principles preferred
• Fork Truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area throughout shift.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all materials and complete daily cycle counts.
