Requirements

The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

Reads work order or pick tickets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved, or processed
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, or other material handling equipment
Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information or cases or containers
Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers
Ensures accuracy or order and security of packaging to avoid damage in shipment
Operate a pallet jack and forklift on a regular basis
Able to meet quality and productivity deliverables
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
