About The Position

Job Summary: Maintains warehouse area, by organizing and tracking material in all production phases. Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand truck, etc.). Supply departments with required materials. Prepares and maintains related summaries and document files. Participates in annual warehouse inventory audit. What you will be doing: Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks with the use of low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. Log the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products using the computer inventory system. Assist in optimization of storage of purchased product and stock. Coordinates incoming material approval process with the Quality Team. Performs issues and returns on all production material used in the pressroom. Performs Weight Verification and dumps scrap material. Weigh and prepare scrap shipments for vendors. Label and store finished products in stores warehouse as orders are produced. Pull and prepare shipments for customers and vendors ensuring accuracy of product and paperwork. Operate low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment to support in essential duties Follow safe work practices and keep the work area clean and organized. Perform related duties as assigned. Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Employee Handbook and adhere to the proper Code of Conduct while on company property.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum 1 year forklift experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
