Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous forklift operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess basic computer skills.
  • The ability to frequently sit and intermittently stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, twist, crouch, reach and lower body.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment regarding work priorities and problem solving.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for placing product in designated rows in warehouse neatly and evenly.
  • Ensure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into warehouse.
  • Supply production areas with needed raw materials.
  • Load and Unload product on stretch-wrap machine.
  • Monitor efficiency of the stretch-wrap machine and report equipment failures to the Maintenance Department.
  • Maintain stretch-wrap supply on machine.
  • Oversee housekeeping and safety standards in the Warehouse Department.
  • Assist loaders in loading and unloading semi-trailers when needed.
