Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams. Material Handler - D Shift Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position will work: D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am Shift premium: $1.50 per hour
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or a GED
- Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs
- Maintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
