About The Position

Position Summary: Perform work in compliance with all cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulations in addition to company policy and safety guidelines. Responsible for the physical movement, support, and administrative tasks involved in receiving, shipping, storing, and support of all material types. Specifically in material replenishment support of Manufacturing. This role will also be responsible for the real time electronic transactions in various Warehouse Management software. Learn and implement basics of lean manufacturing and good housekeeping principles.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • No previous experience required, some experience preferred
  • Effective verbal communication skills

  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment by managing tasks, multitasking, and adapting quickly to maintain productivity.
  • Basic: demonstrates fundamental awareness and can perform routine tasks with guidance
  • An understanding of all warehouse functions
  • Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
  • Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery.
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
  • Must be able to work in warehouse conditions with long periods of standing, climbing, bending, walking, and reaching in wide temperature ranges.
  • High level of repetitive motion.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • The work is fast paced and must be able to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Materials handling experience within the medical device industry, including working with the FD regarding control of materials for instruments and chemistry, preferred.
  • Forklift cerficiation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
  • Receive, quantify, and store incoming material with warehouse equipment from various delivery sources
  • Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed.
  • Document orders, materials, and any stock movements.
  • For Reagent teams, break down, clean, organize, and prep raw material ready for manufacturing in accordance with procedure and production requirements.
  • Perform related transactions, bin maintenance, and maintain shelving for the stocking of material.
  • Perform real time daily replenishment of material in a “Just in Time” manner to support internal customers.
  • Process all deliveries to ensure material transactions occur for all departmental activities.
  • Ensure high level of accuracy with logging, labeling, tracking, and entering material lot information into Warehouse Management software.
  • Aid in the identification and movement of non-conforming material.
  • Follow all general OSHA Safety Guidelines for warehouses
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
