JOB DETAILS Base pay rate is $17.50 plus $1.00 shift differential Night Shift starts: 6:00 pm The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year. The Material Handler position has the capability of operating forklifts, cranes and other mechanical material handling equipment. Other areas could be crate/production assembly

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of (1) one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle, overhead crane, yard mule and side loaders
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature- controlled environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Good attitude and team oriented
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
  • Assist co-workers and customers
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
  • Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Maintaining a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
