As part of the Kito Crosby team, you will be supporting channel partners and end users around the world using Kito Crosby products in mission critical applications ranging from development of renewable power, space exploration, national defense, manufacturing, and infrastructure development. This position is responsible for the activities of the area assigned having to do with shipment, receipt, identification, storage, disbursement, and inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.  Must be able to properly identify parts and finished products, store in proper place, and issue for work orders.  Must be able to make accurate counts and computer entries, correctly fill out necessary paperwork, and accurately tag and route shipments via the proper carrier.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ Material Handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of at least 3 hours’ Forklift Operation training.

Responsibilities

  • Ship, receive, identify, store, and disburse materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Make accurate counts and computer entries; fill out necessary paperwork; tag and route shipments via the proper carrier.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently if properly trained.
  • Lift 1 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Reach, bend over, twist, stand, or walk for long periods of time to pull parts, replenish stocking locations, cycle count, load parts on pallets, and remove parts from boxes.
  • See, read , and write to comprehend safety warnings, work orders, special instructions computer readouts, CRT screen, and to complete inventory control documents, cycle counts, etc.
  • Communicate with supervisors, inspectors, etc.
  • Be able to learn and have a long term memory to identify and locate parts and equipment, to utilize the computer, and do many other functions of the job.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are important to maintain manufacturing schedules.
  • Will be exposed to some dust, smoke, and fumes normal to any manufacturing environment.
