About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for various tasks related to material movement, preparation, counting, weighing, and recording transactions. This role involves operating equipment like pallet jacks and requires the ability to meet daily material movement rates and support on-time delivery. The position requires physical stamina, including standing for 8 hours, frequent walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and involves working in an environment with moving mechanical parts and high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, pull, and label material
• Prepare materials for use in production or for shipment to external customers
• Count, weigh, and record all transactions
• Perform required computer and or scanner transactions
• Operate pallet jack, and/or equipment as trained and required.
