About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Prepare, label, and maintain sample materials for testing in alignment with established procedures. Review shipment manifests for discrepancies. Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain accurate documentation, inventory tracking, and sample records. Collaborate with production, quality, and lab teams to ensure proper material flow.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and dependable work practices.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate material‑handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Capability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across departments.
- Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors or indoors as needed.
- Ability to wear all required PPE including a half and full-face respirators.
- Flexibility with schedules such as extended hours and weekend work is required when production permits.
