About The Position

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is a leading national private label and contract packing food manufacturer focused on frozen pizza. We have two manufacturing facilities located in IL and WI. We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers We have an immediate opening for Material Handler (2nd Shift) on our pizza production line. This position is located in our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift.
  • The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.
  • Positive attendance record.
  • Safe operation of stand-up and sit-down fork truck.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
  • Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
  • Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
  • Properly put away any warehouse loads.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.
  • Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Create and Receive TOP’s \ POP’s if needed.
  • Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls.
