About The Position

FGCI, Leading Distributor of Composites materials is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Order Picker in our St, Petersburg location. This position will manage orders from warehouse staff and management, physically pull inventory from shelves to ensure accurate delivery of products.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a similar warehouse setting preferred
Keen attention to detail
Previous forklift experience preferred
Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Self motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well on a team as well as independently
Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a similar warehouse setting preferred
Previous forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manage pick ticket orders
Pulls items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity and quality requirements
Ensure orders are accurate
Stage items safely and correctly for delivery
Operates handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
Monitor stock control systems and process specific orders
Ensure warehouse goals are met
Maintain a high level and health and safety standards
Shrink wrap products to pallets
Load delivery vehicles
Pack warehouse orders as necessary
Operate scanners so that proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
