About The Position

As a Material Handler, you are responsible for moving materials/scrap around the facility, as well as updating all necessary logs and putting material in the proper holding/staging area. This role involves operating various powered industrial trucks, filling out appropriate paperwork, coordinating scrap/trash removal and maintenance at various work centers, and managing daily operations within the Walsworth Recycling Center, including operating a baler machine and segregating recyclable materials. The position also requires providing scrap and waste receptacles and clearing lines of outgoing materials as directed by the shift lead, while adhering to work instructions.

Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
Previous experience working with Power Industrial equipment.
Must have good organizational skills.
High School Diploma.

Strong mechanical aptitude helpful.
Previous experience preferred.
