About The Position

Loads, unloads and moves materials/products within the facility for prompt and accurate access to shipping and/or production based upon the needs of the company and the customer.

Requirements

• Able to work under pressure
• Able to follow directions precisely
• Must be certified to operate forklift and drive in a safe manner.
• Must possess valid unrestricted driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 – 2 years manufacturing experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Work safely in a fast paced environment
• Work overtime, including weekends as requested.

Responsibilities

• Operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, and pallet jack to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
• Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
• Reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Act as back-up driver for company truck
• Follows all safety procedures
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Communicate with others to coordinate material handling or movement.
