About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory by labeling and stocking materials and supplies, as well as accurately recording their locations. This role involves locating materials by verifying production orders and distributing supplies while tracking their whereabouts. The Material Handler will operate pallet jacks and stand-up/sit-down forklifts (certification required) and will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and merchandise from trucks, which may include boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Requirements

• Must be certified to operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift
• Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude every day
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required
• Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions

• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory identifiable by labeling and placing material and supplies in stock and must be able to record keep location of inventory
• Locate material and supplies by pulling and verifying material and supplies list on production order
• Be accountable for material/supplies distribution and be able to track material locations
• Operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks (boxes may way up to 60 lbs)
