About The Position

Serigraph is seeking a skilled and detail oriented Material handler to maintain production and distribution of product and supplies by transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas. Material Handler duties include operating forklift, pallet truck or other material handling equipment to load, unload or move materials and stage finished product.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. We value the foundational education and skills that it represents as a minimum qualification for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Transport materials from staging areas to designated locations.
  • Unload and load shipments efficiently, including floor loading trailers for drop ship packages.
  • Ensure timely preparation of items for daily shipments.
  • Read and understand tickets/routings to deliver materials accurately.
  • Prioritize warehouse space effectively during high-volume workdays.
  • Prepare materials for transportation between plants and end customers.
  • Communicate job status and supply information to relevant personnel.
  • Secure materials on skids for proper transportation.
  • Adhere to forklift rules and regulations.
  • Foster cooperation and teamwork with all departments.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Emphasize recycling, energy conservation, and waste reduction.
  • Follow environmental practices, policies, and procedures for material handling and disposal.
  • Support Serigraph's quality business system and understand the use of SPECS.
