Material Handler (1st shift)
About The Position
Secure Work Environment – NO LAYOFFS We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time 1st Shift Material Handler who has experience storing, stocking, loading trucks, and moving materials in a warehouse/shipping environment . Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm Peak days (4-5 days/month) start at 4:30am - Early birds welcome! Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
- Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
- Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
- Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
- Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
Responsibilities
- Move inventory materials to and from the various locations to support shipping/distribution.
- Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies.
- Keep all areas behind the lines and in pack area clean and free of hazards.
- Load customers' orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock.
- This position does not operate a forklift.
