About The Position

Quanex is looking for Material Handler-3rd shift to join our team located in
Thomasville, NC.

The Material Handler is responsible for sorting parts, performing quality
inspections on molded parts and separating and sorting scrap material. This
position is Sunday-Wednesday 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.
• Inspect parts according to the specifications for quality, color, fit, form and function.
• Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
• Keeps the sorting area neat, clean and orderly.
