Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of Material Handling experience, DOT certification.
  • Computer skills.
  • Pallet jack, Fork truck, Yard Truck (Jockey) experience.

Nice To Haves

  • qualified as Hazmat technician including use of SCBA
  • trouble shooting mechanical issues such as hose connection and pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of daily area activities for Bulk chemical receipts ensuring that the correct material/quantities are received and processed properly through the QC lab and safely offloaded from tanker trucks into bulk process tanks.
  • Responsible for all loading/unloading operations as detailed in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Responsible for moving trailers as needed using the yard truck to stage feed for Production, dry vans for outbound finished product, or position bulk trailers to support production needs. (ie..drop raw materials/Waste streams).
  • Perform daily area activities packaged raw material and packaging including verifying inbound receipts (correct material and count), proper put away, completing SAP transactions, and replenishing MFG raw material staging areas.
  • Participate in Monthly Cycle Counting and Yearly Physical Inventory.
  • Act as gatekeeper for RCRA room waste stream, ensuing material is handled properly and associated paperwork is in place for all waste delivered to or transported to the RCRA room.
  • Assist in clean ups and autonomous maintenance and assist in achieving site’s KPIs for Safety, Quality, and Production.
  • Must be competent in required area field work

  • Comply with the requirements of the ISO9001:2105 Quality Management System.
  • Support and adhere to the principles of Sun Care by protecting the environment, health, safety and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers and neighbors.
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety practices including but not limited to: manage waste movements according to satellite and/or 90-day accumulation requirements, inspect air contaminant sources and institute corrective action for out-of-spec conditions, prevent releases into the sewer and/or stormwater systems by following BMPs (best management practices), activate emergency response procedures in case of spills or other emergencies.
