About The Position

The Material Handlers work within the Company's licensed facility ensuring safe and compliant movement, handling, and storage of cannabis materials, equipment and finished goods. This role supports cultivation, processing and distribution operations by maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless logistics between departments. Material Handlers usually spend most of their shift on their feet loading and unloading inventory, supplies and other packages from various locations, like storage and production areas, delivery vehicles, and loading docks. Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older and pass all required pre-employment screenings
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
• Must be and remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures
• Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or cannabis operations
• Familiarity with cannabis seed to sale systems (e.g.,Metrc) and inventory software
• Basic proficiency with data entry, math, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Comfortable working in a dynamic changing environment
• Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of the quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
• Identify and locate appropriate items for outgoing orders and internal transfers
• Track material movements using inventory management systems and cannabis compliance software (e.g., Metrc)
• Maintain accurate and current records of inventory and logs not included in compliance software
• Label cannabis materials and other supplies in accordance with compliance and SOPs
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure safety
• Operate a forklift as required
• Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products
• Perform duties in outdoor or variable environmental conditions when required
