Delivers correct and properly documented materials needed for work orders to workers in a timely manner, charging material to correct work order. Loads and unloads trucks, inspecting raw materials correctly marking them as to type and grade, and properly transporting and storing the inventoried items. Fills out proper documentation for all transactions. Checks delivery papers and delivered materials for accuracy, forwards papers to his/her receiving/shipping personnel and/or supervisor. Returns correctly marked unused materials to proper storage area. Communicate report of received and transported/staged material. Helps prepare receiving report. Coordinate with others, including other manufacturing and procurement/materials personnel. Support Shipping and Receiving clerks with materials movement. Ability to perform receiving documentation tasks in computer system. Ability to perform shipping documentation tasks in computer system. Must be able to work with basic hand tools (both power and manual) to include tape measures, calipers, micrometer, thread gauges, and other test measurement equipment as needed. Must be able to understand blueprints/drawings. Keeps yard clean and organized. Assists in periodic and annual physical inventories. Perform other duties as required.
