Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Transport raw materials and packaging using a variety of material handling equipment Load and unload trucks according to schedule and in a safe and timely manner Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and the production team Must understand FIFO and FEFO concepts Stage raw ingredients according for production according to production schedule Interpret batch sheets to accurately stage raw ingredients for production Ensure proper breakdown of batch recipes by appropriately converting gallons to pounds and pounds to kilograms with the assistance of a calculator Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and as a member of a team Ensure effective and professional communication with team members and site leadership Ensuring that incoming and outgoing products meet strict food safety and quality requirements Operate sit down fork truck and standing fork truck in a safe manner Effective operation of computer, keyboard, and mouse Accurate data entry both written and in computer warehousing program Participate in inventory cycle counts both on and off-site Responsible for ensuring work area is clean, organized, and free of obstructions Wear appropriate PPE where required Strictly adhere to all safety policies Follow company GMPs and all other quality and food safety programs as they relate to the warehouse department All other duties as assigned Competencies Acute attention to detail Initiative Mathematical aptitude
