About The Position

Raycap, Inc., an industry leader in manufacturing solutions for telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense, and other applications, is currently looking for a Material Handler in our Kearny, NJ facility. This is a fast-paced position in a metal manufacturing environment. The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and tracking materials throughout the facility. This role supports production and shipping by loading and unloading trucks, staging and organizing materials, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring all products are handled according to company standards. The Material Handler must keep all work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient workflow. This position works closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic data entry skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Fill orders and package materials and finished products
• Unloads materials from trucks
• Operate a computer terminal for data input
• Prepare and package finished goods for shipping
• Prepare documentation regarding exporting materials and finished product
• Stacks and ships trade show and demonstration materials as directed by sales/marketing departments
• Using a forklift, pallet jack or hand truck, distributes incoming freight to appropriate departments
• Ensure materials are stored neatly and in designated locations for easy identification
• Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
