About The Position

In this function, you will: Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies & finished goods Load and unload trailers as required Pick and pull stock for delivery Organize pallet area in the backyard on regular basis Organize material storage location in backyard and inside the building on a regular basis Complete forklift inspection on a daily basis Primary owner for recycling duties for assigned area (i.e., emptying cardboard bins to the cardboard baler on a daily basis, operating cardboard baler, etc.) Ability to work overtime with little to no notice as necessary for customer requirements. Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility. Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Reno, NV (50 miles) will be considered for this position. Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with or without reasonable assistance. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
