About The Position

The primary role of the Material Handler is to move products within the plant and to bring material/products to the production areas, as needed. This job requires working with many different departments and with employees at all levels of the organization. This role is required to get products moved, received and shipped on time. Requirements

Forklift experience
Able to use a computer
Must be able to multi-task and be detailed oriented
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Can perform under pressure and can prioritize needs
Must be able to push/pull up to 50lbs
Able to get on and off the forklift multiple times during a shift
Able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
Good organizational skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move parts as needed to complete counts (<50 lbs.)

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, pick or put away product
Accurately issue and pull products from racks for delivery to various production areas
Make all necessary location-to-location transactions on the shop floor (V9)
Verify all incoming or outgoing products have been entered into the Shop floor at each step
Verify all products with the correct tag and quantity
Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
Report any inventory issue to the Supervisor immediately
Other duties as assigned
