Jacksonville Products …think outside the engine. As a Material Handler you will pick and package parts for delivery to the manufacturing floor, perform cycle counts. This role requires 1-year of previous stockroom, receiving, shipping or warehouse experience. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One (1) year in a manufacturing environment or equivalent materials experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic ERP skills
  • Basic math skills (counting, converting decimals to fractions and vice versa)
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with material processes in an ERP environment
  • Prior stockroom, receiving, shipping, and/or warehouse experience
  • Past experience with materials in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and transact computer generated reports as required
  • Ability to write MDR’s as required
  • Ability to use a weigh scale to count small parts
  • Ability to learn to perform a basic visual review of parts to ensure correct material is picked and is not damaged as required
  • Ability to execute transact/view ERP transactions (locate stock, pick parts, put away parts, transact labels) for raw material & sub components
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts & inventory select part numbers
  • Pick & package parts for delivery to manufacturing cells, bond room inspection area, and shipping
  • Ability to cross train as required
  • Ability to demonstrate specialized skills associated with department (Production - sort can-build, load parts in cell stations based on priorities & schedules) as required
  • Ability to learn FR supply processes as required
  • Deliver & pick up items (contracts, parts) from work centers
  • Ability to locate and print the MSDS for any stockroom material as required
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate job status effectively as required
  • Able to climb ladders/stockroom stairs as required
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
