About The Position

The Material Handler supports production by ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are delivered, staged, and removed with accuracy and efficiency. This role combines traditional material‑handling duties with a structured, route‑based replenishment system designed to keep operators focused on value-added work and maintain continuous production flow.

Requirements

• Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials within required weight limits
• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow structured routes and maintain consistent timing
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials and supplies
• Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Stage materials for production according to schedules and work orders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives
• Maintain clean, organized storage and staging areas
• Follow a standardized replenishment route to deliver materials just in time
• Ensure all workstations remain stocked with required parts, tools, and supplies
• Remove empty containers, scrap, and completed work from production areas
• Support takt time by preventing operators from leaving their stations
• Monitor material usage and communicate shortages or disruptions immediately
• Contribute to Lean initiatives by identifying waste and improving flow
