About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler will work in a fast-paced environment located in our Greensboro, NC office. This role is responsible for various assignments, duties, and tasks within the warehouse such as preparing items for shipment, safely operating equipment to move products, materials and supplies from one area to another and to load items on trucks, shelves, racks and pallets. The Warehouse Material Handler must have a high level of accuracy and productivity to ensure the right products get to the right place at the right time. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the desire to go above and beyond for both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HVAC products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders from pick tickets and prepare for delivery or pick up.
  • Pack, label, wrap, scan shipping labels & load for pickup or ship
  • Maintain appropriate paperwork flow and documentation.
  • Assist pickup customers.
  • Unload, receive and process incoming stock.
  • Verify shipment accuracy & inspect for damage.,
  • Report any discrepancies or damage.
  • Put up stock in proper location.
  • Restock returned items in their designated storage areas.
  • Maintain quality service standards and comply with established procedures.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse forklifts and other equipment.
  • Maintain forklift certification.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment.
  • Attend safety training and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist with annual inventory.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly cycle counts.
  • Assist other departments as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including general housekeeping.
