About The Position

Overview Production position that will assist with all functions of production in a steel processing facility with deck rolling mills, paint line, weld line, fabrication/assembly area, and accessories equipment. Responsibilities Material handling with forklift, crane, or by hand Operation of all plant equipment Assembly of specialized products Light maintenance duties Any other duties necessary for improving plant/equipment performance Qualifications Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events Strong communication and teamwork skills Self-directed and motivated Well organized and detail orientated Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solve Must have good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skills Must be able to lift 75 pounds Formal technical education or equivalent, preferred Previous experience in an industrial plant or equivalent, preferred Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
