Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar role is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and inspect materials for quality and quantity.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting and moving heavy items, as well as standing for extended periods.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficient in organizing materials and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Material Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials. Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring proper storage and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Prepare outgoing shipments, packing items securely and verifying orders for accuracy. Receive incoming shipments, check for damages, and process items into inventory systems.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, update records, and track material usage to prevent shortages or excesses. Collaborate with the team to optimize inventory levels.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with various departments to meet their material needs and support operational efficiency. Assist in resolving any discrepancies in shipments or materials.
