Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication, grammar, voice and diction.
  • Must also have the ability to use tools (Forklift, pallet jack, rollers, steel toe shoes, strap cutters, utility knife and trash buggies).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for utilizing the forklift to load pallets of finished products onto rollers to wrap plastic. Once wrapped, uses forklift to load pallets onto racks.
  • Moves material using forklift and truck.
  • Receives incoming materials and load onto racks using pallet jack and forklift.
  • Transports raw material to machines on production floor.
  • Stacks cardboard tops at each machine.
  • Adjusts two at individual machines using pallet jack.
  • Responsible for housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dumping trash etc.
  • Expected to act in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Responsible for loading/unloading raw material items onto the processing machines.
  • Responsible for hand packing finished goods onto cardboard trays.
  • Conducts finished goods verification counts to ensure proper packaging
  • Collect/weigh/dispose of all process waste.
  • Provide releif for employees operating machines.
  • ISO 9001, 14001 and Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance
  • Operates all equipment in the prescribed manner
  • Reports all safety concerns to Supervisor
  • Maintain awareness of company policies
  • Maintain awareness of company objectives for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Support the Company’s continuous improvement initiatives
  • Completes all tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
