About The Position

With over 30 years of expertise, OMI is the world leader in manufacturing natural odor eliminating solutions for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our growing team! JOB PURPOSE Responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and continuous movement of finished goods across a 5-line production facility and shipping department. This role protects production and shipping flow, eliminates bottlenecks, and ensures seamless transition from production to shipment.

Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to operate a forklift; training and certification will be completed onsite.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Lean and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Supports production and shipping flow by moving finished goods through the facility in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Remove finished goods from production lines following completion and QC approval.
  • Move finished goods to designated staging, storage, or shipping locations.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and shipping teams to support workflow and outbound priorities.
  • Maintains organization, inventory accuracy, and process compliance.
  • Ensure finished goods are properly scanned, labeled, and recorded in NetSuite.
  • Maintain accurate location tracking of finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Support cycle counts and assists with resolving inventory discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Keep production lines, staging areas, and material flow paths clear and organized.
  • Follow safety procedures, standard work, and 5S practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to support efficiency and accuracy.
