About The Position

A Material Handler is responsible for accurately selecting, locating, sorting, packing and loading/unloading apparel and footwear for shipment to stores, vendors or direct to customers. This seasonal role will last up to 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position based on performance, business needs, and mutual agreement. Available Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old to apply.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.
• This requirement is critical to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.  It is not a requirement of Foot Locker that employees speak English only while at work.

Responsibilities

• Accurately use and operate an RF scanning device.
• Sort product according to purchase order and SKU.
• Correctly match and place shipping labels.
• Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director, or HR manager.
• Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
• All other duties as assigned
