About The Position

A level 1 material handler is the entry level position. The objective of this position is to develop a solid understanding of the basic requirements of the warehouse and demonstrate these requirements at an acceptable level of performance. Development of a strong skills base is required to move to the next warehouse associate level.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in packaging of aftermarket materials.
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in manual and automated roof kit equipment operation.
• Ability to operate and pass certification for lift truck operation.
• Complete and demonstrate proficiency in 6S processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate a positive work ethic and attitude. To include the ability to work as a team.
• Compliance with company attendance policy.
• Demonstrate the ability to create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain required performance metrics.
• Provide training, support and guidance as needed to ensure the employee has the best opportunity for success.
