About The Position

Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Material Handler I position. This position must have the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have experience pulling a trailer.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented; commitment to a culture of performance and excellence is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Strong computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI’s) for consistency.
  • Verifies the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming orders.
  • Must label products and place them accordingly in the correct location as referenced by Roestrac.
  • Responsible for keeping a well-maintained and organized stock and inventory.
  • Handling returns by completing documentation and other required communication.
  • Responsible for keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular inspection.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.
  • Pull material to fill project needs and deliver to the project location.
  • Must comply with Roeslein & Associates’ core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships with employees.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
  • Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
