About The Position

The purpose of this position is to perform the material handling activities in the Put-Up department by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment to transport materials to/from production areas, to/from staging areas and locations, and/or to/from designated storage locations.
• Sorts, palletizes, labels and locates items on racks, shelves, bins & pallets according to size, type, styles, colors & product codes. (uses computer terminal and scan guns)
• Makes boxes, spools, etc. for process material as required.
• Pack goods and label according to the customer specifications.
• Comply with, TapeCraft’s Environmental, Quality, Health, Safety & 5S objectives, polices & programs, and relevant procedures.
• Performs other position-related duties as assigned.
