The primary purpose of this Material Handler position is to carry out assigned duties focused on material handling within the Shipping department, while also supporting all departmental needs as business demands require.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for up to 12 hours per shift
• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a material handler
• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a mobile equipment operator

Responsibilities

• Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.
• Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.
• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
• Keeps always assigned work area clean.
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Must be able to operate a side loader.
