Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is necessary
- 1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.
- Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
- Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
- NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of steel in the warehouse
- Transport material in the plant as needed
- Load and unload all trucks and equipment
- Visually inspect coils to ensure customer specifications are met
- Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines
- Utilize overhead crane and forklifts to move materials
