Typical hours for this position are 3:30PM-12:00AM, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• Normally requires a high school degree or the equivalent thereof. Prefer some experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must be mobile and can lift and load heavy items up to 51-70 lbs.
• Must have the ability to learn and perform the duties necessary to provide the maximum service level required of this position.
• May occasionally be exposed to or required to work in conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals with appropriate safety measures.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate receipt, placement and storage of product within the distribution center in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the accurate timely picking, packing and shipping of merchandise in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Transports and restocks products in their assigned locations maintaining first in/first out inventory procedures. Ensures all operating procedures are followed to ensure efficient and effective space utilization and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and updates supervisor to ensure accuracy.
• Participates in periodic product inventories and annual inventory.
• Responsible for the general cleanliness of the warehouse and maintains all equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
