About The Position

Material Handler This is a 1st shift position. Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:20pm with OT as required. Job Description Place and retrieve product from appropriately designated areas via forklift and other material handling equipment throughout facilities to ensure that production and customer needs are met. May involve receipt of incoming material/product and may load and unload trucks. Prepare the materials for production by identifying which material is needed and mixing materials to job specifications; measure, weigh, mark, label, count, blend, track, calculate shot weight, record, inspect, verify, package and palletize a wide variety of products or materials. Operate dryers at the correct temperature to prepare raw materials and ensure the correct moisture levels, utilizing the moisture analyzer. Maintain cleanliness of material handling equipment to prevent material contamination. Check forklift and other equipment periodically for proper operation and may perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Responsible for quality of work and appropriately resolve unusual operating conditions. Willingly modifies work schedule and duties to accommodate Company needs. All other duties as assigned. . Ideal Candidate Typically requires : A High School Diploma or equivalent, read and understand work Instructions, computer experience, independent decision making, and effective self-management.

Responsibilities
