Material Handler - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
About The Position
What you’ll do on a typical day: Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility Move material through warehouse setting Perform duties that may include picking, packing, scanning, receiving, putting away or counting products Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times Use a handheld barcode scanner and desktop computer warehouse management system Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Experience operating material handling equipment The ability to read, write, speak and receive information in English This job requires the ability to: Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments It’d be great if you also have: Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Experience using a handheld scanner and desktop computer Positive attitude and the ability to work on a team to achieve goals and objectives High school diploma or equivalent We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
