About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods within a fast-paced bathtub manufacturing facility. This role ensures materials are delivered to production lines safely, efficiently, and on time to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
  • Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fiberglass, plastics, or heavy manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Good communication skills with production and logistics teams
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and verify against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Inspect materials for damage, quality issues, and proper documentation
  • Safely unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
  • Maintain organized inventory locations for fiberglass, acrylic sheets, resins, hardware, and packaging materials
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and schedules
  • Support production by ensuring timely replenishment of materials to avoid downtime
  • Accurately record inventory transactions in ERP or inventory management systems
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
  • Package and prepare finished bathtubs and components for shipment
  • Load outbound shipments in accordance with shipping schedules and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment (5S standards)
  • Follow all company safety policies, especially when handling chemicals (resins, solvents) and large molded products
