About The Position

Seda North America is seeking a Material Handler on 3rd shift to join our team!  Are you experienced with driving forklifts? Do you enjoy a fast-paced role? We are hosting a Job Fair Thursday, September 11th, from 10 AM – 2 PM at our facility in Mt. Pleasant/Racine. Apply now, then come meet our team at 12501 Globe Dr. Mt. Pleasant, WI 53177.  Pay starts at $20+ per hour, plus earn the shift premium of +$2.00/hr. Hours are Monday through Friday 11pm-7am. Great Place to Work Certified 3 years in a row! We value your time spent with family and friends; we do not schedule mandatory OT!  Seda North America is an air conditioned, exceptionally clean facility that designs and produces innovative paper packaging solutions, which include unique insulated coffee cups and food industry containers. You will be supporting manufacturing flow by moving material through the facility and accurately recording inventory. Why work here? Requirements

  • Prior experience forklift driving in manufacturing environment; sit down and stand up forklift 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with co-workers at all levels
  • Flexibility- ability and willingness to learn and utilize a range of skills
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or other certification a plus 
  • Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted
  • Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift 
  • Comfortable working in noisy and loud environments
  • Wear all required PPE and follow safety practices as instructed

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound or outbound material recording all material movements using RF Scan Gun in SAP system.
  • Retrieves materials by locating and verifying materials; stacking materials on hand truck; moving materials to production location; stacking materials at production location.
  • Maintains inventory records.
  • Store finished product in the warehouse and record SAP.
  • Operate sit down and stand-up fork truck with clamp attachment for movement of paper rolls.
  • Maintains clean and safe work area by removing cartons and other debris.
