About The Position
Freeman Boatworks builds some of the most respected offshore fishing boats in the world, and we’re looking for a skilled Material Handler to help keep our production operations running smoothly. If you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in safe, precise forklift operation, we’d love to talk.
Requirements
- Forklift experience required — including the ability to maneuver safely in tight or confined spaces
- Strong situational awareness and a commitment to safety
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with production staff
Nice To Haves
- Prior material handling or warehouse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and components throughout the facility
- Navigate tight aisles and high-traffic areas with accuracy and care
- Load, unload, and stage materials for production teams
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Support production by ensuring materials are delivered where and when they’re needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
