About The Position

Contract to Hire Material Handler - Goshen/Bristol/Middlebury/Warsaw Job Duties: Receive incoming materials and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or shipping documents. Organize and store materials in designated locations, following inventory control procedures. Retrieve materials as requested by production or shipping departments, ensuring timely delivery. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse or storage areas. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Assist with packaging, labeling, and other related tasks as needed. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Ability to lift and or move up to 50+ lbs throughout the entire shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop. Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel. Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
