Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to drive tuggers.
Ability to use tablet devices, scanners, and printers for barcode labels.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to set direction and make decisions.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Continuous walking, standing, and sitting
Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist employees in their work and assist with training operators in work instructions on material handling equipment (tuggers, carts, MRM, scanners, etc.), material handler duties and responsibilities, and material flow in the plant.
Maintain lines with zero downtime due to waiting on parts.
Responsible for the delivery of parts to the line and reporting any disruptions to the Material Handling Area Leader.
Perform and lead cycle counts for line-side inventory.
Perform daily audits of the work area for 5S and the safety checklist for equipment, and report all issues found to the Area Leader.
Communicate issues to the Area Leader or Department Manager.
Fosters positive working relationships with all personnel in the division.
Leads by example to other employees by attendance, good work performance, and displaying positive behaviors.
Follows and supports LMV Automotive System's and Magna's operating principles, including: a.
