About The Position

The Material Handler –Production Services is responsible for receiving materials and ensuring that we have accurate inventory levels to satisfy customer needs. This position will report to the Production Services Manager.

Requirements

  • Highschool education or equivalent required
  • Knowledge in MS Office and SP Systems
  • Knowledge in EPAC and MCMS
  • Strong capabilities in materials management practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and make decisions in a team based setting.
  • Willingness to work with all levels of the organization and reach out to vendors when necessary
  • Ability to work full-time, all shifts, all schedules, and all days of the week to include weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to be called in for emergency coverage and work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to sit, stan, climb, stool, knell, push, pull or crouch.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Printing and reviewing production schedule regularly.
  • Responsible for receiving in material inventory as well as identifying and correcting inventory issues.
  • Act as materials subject matter expert for the plant with the ability to coach and share best practices with your peers in a constructive manner.
  • Provide support to all areas of brewery with needed materials.
  • Adhere to DOT requirements to safely ship and receive hazardous chemicals used throughout brewery processes.
  • Assist with and maintaining accurate cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciled inventory records.
  • Work with plant services to determine accurate stocking levels and reduce inventory.
  • Assist with process order reconciliation when needed.
  • Attend monthly team meetings and daily shift meetings.
  • Responsible for communicating and coordinating activities with operations, quality, security, distributors and other internal customers as required.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
