A key aspect is managing freight flow by manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacer), identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, utilizing warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners, and maintaining records. The role also involves complying with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, keeping the work area organized, maintaining freight flow, and monitoring freight for cold chain and species compliance. Responsibilities

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment for example single and double pallet jack lift pacer.
Identifies, counts, separates, combines, and scans freight.
Utilizes warehouse management system terminal scales and scanners and maintains records logs and forms.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Keeps work area organized and maintains freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
Monitors freight to ensure coldchain and species compliance.
