About The Position

The Material Handler – Kitting & Order Fulfillment is responsible for walking the production floor to pick, organize, and pack materials according to customer-specific kitting orders. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and organization to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. While occasional forklift operation may be required, the position is primarily a hands-on, physical role focused on manual material handling and order accuracy.

Requirements

Ability to accurately interpret packing slips and shipment documentation.
Proficiency in safe material handling and proper packaging techniques.
Experience operating a forklift preferred.
Ability to work on a team and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage, and pack materials according to detailed kitting and customer order requirements
Walk the warehouse and production floor throughout the shift to locate and retrieve items
Verify part numbers, quantities, and packaging specifications to ensure order accuracy
Assemble kits according to work instructions, packing lists, or customer specifications
Label, package, and prepare completed kits for shipment or internal use
Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly store materials when not in use
Accurately complete paperwork, inventory transactions, and basic system entries as required
Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials to supervision
Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed (training provided if not already certified)
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
