About The Position

Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts. Responsibilities Essential Duties: Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment. - Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed. - Prepare crates and other items to be shipped. - Efficiently and independently process shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system with minimal errors. - Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc. - May respond to after hours requests regularly on an on call basis. Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform all assigned duties.
  • Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
  • Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
  • Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Typically at least 2 years related warehousing and inventory experience.
  • Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed.

  • Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role.
  • Constantly required to stand, display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to walk with good balance.
  • Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat.
  • Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and slanted ladders.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • General knowledge of inventory parts used in assigned area preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems preferred, preferably with Oracle.
  • May serve as a resource to others with less experience.
